AVS Hudson Mohawk Chapter Virtal Spring Meeting
Join our staff scientist Ashley Maloney, Ph.D at the AVS Hudson Mohawk Chapter meeting. She will be presenting a talk on Using Auger, EDS and FIB to Detect, Identify, and Image Buried Metallic Particles.
With the combination of AES, FIB and EDS, we show that buried metal particles can be first located and characterized with EDS, followed by the subsequent FIB milling and Auger spectroscopy of the particles. Auger's surface sensitivity and superior spatial resolution can then be used to characterize the true composition and morphology of the freshly exposed particle.
This meeting will be held via Zoom Thursday, May 6 from 2 - 4 p.m. CST. Registration is FREE. To register, submit an email to marco_hopstaken@avs.org with your name and affiliation, with the extra subject line "HMAVS Spring 2021 Registration". For more information.
