Applied Surface Analysis Workshop

Case Western Reserve University Cleveland, Ohio

Case Western Reserve is offering a three-day short course and workshop on Applied Surface Analysis, June 28-30, 2011. The workshop will offer in-depth instruction and hands-on demonstrations of these three major surface analysis techniques. Instructors include PHI Scientists Dr. Gregory Fisher and Dr. Sankar Raman.

The Swagelok Center for Surface Analysis of Materials (SCSAM) at Case Western Reserve University provides three of the most important and state-of-the-art techniques of surface analysis: X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (also known as ESCA or Electron Spectroscopy for Chemical Analysis); Auger Electron Spectroscopy (AES); and Time-Of-Flight Secondary Ion Mass Spectroscopy (TOF-SIMS).
