PHI European User Meeting and Software & Data Reduction Training 2018
It is our great pleasure to announce that our next PHI User Meeting has been scheduled for May 16 & 17, 2018 at the Hotel Kapellenberg in Eibelstadt, Germany. The meeting will begin in the morning Wednesday, May 16th at 9:00am and go through lunch of Thursday, May 17th.
After the last meeting in Maastricht, where we introduced the revolutionary MS/MS capability on our NanoTOF II TOF-SIMS instrument, we’ve decided to come back to Germany. It is already a nice tradition, that we hold the meeting every other time in the beautiful Franconian region of Germany. Eibelstadt is about 100km east of Frankfurt, easy to reach by train or car.
As in previous meetings, we will provide a platform for the exchange of information and ideas. PHI will present recent news about our products along with recent applications and upgrades to your existing systems. In addition, and equally important is your feedback and contributions to the meeting. I would like to invite you to share with us and the other PHI users, by way of a short 10 – 15 minute presentation, about your experiences using PHI equipment. Topics could be application oriented or about features you might have developed for your system that would be of general interest to other customers. The meeting will cover all techniques supported by PHI including XPS, Auger, and Time-of-Flight SIMS.
On May 14 & 15, just prior to the User Meeting, we will offer PHI MultiPak training that will focus on data reduction for XPS data. A separate PHI MultiPak training for Auger data reduction is scheduled as well. On the same dates, we will also offer PHI TOF DR training that will focus on TOF-SIMS data reduction. To make the training most effective, the XPS training class will be limited to 15 people and 8 people for the TOF-DR and Auger training classes. Registrations will be accepted on a first come – first serve basis. Online registration for the User Meeting and the data reduction training classes is available now.
